Can I transfer files without Wi-Fi?
You can transfer files using a USB connection or a mobile hotspot if a standard Wi-Fi network is not available, depending on your device.
Can I use a USB cable?
Yes. OSBridge supports USB file transfer for a direct wired connection.
Is USB faster than wireless?
Transfer performance depends on hardware, connection type, cable, device, file size, operating system, and local network conditions. There is no universal speed advantage.
Which transfer method should I use?
Wireless is convenient when you do not want to use a cable. USB is useful when you prefer a direct wired connection or when wireless network conditions are poor.
Privacy & Security Questions
Does OSBridge require cloud storage for file transfers?
No. OSBridge is designed for direct device-to-device file sharing, so cloud storage is not required for supported transfers.
Does OSBridge upload my files to the cloud?
No. OSBridge transfers your files directly between your devices over your local network or USB connection. They are not uploaded to any external cloud servers.
Can I transfer files without internet access?
For supported local transfer methods, OSBridge can transfer files without requiring an internet connection.
Does OSBridge keep a copy of my files?
No. OSBridge only moves files from the source device to the destination device; it does not retain any copies of the transferred files.
Does OSBridge track my files?
No. OSBridge does not track the contents of the files you transfer.
Is my file transfer encrypted?
Data transferred over your local network is protected by your network's security settings, and direct device-to-device connections are kept local.

OSBridge Pro provides advanced features tailored for power users, such as unlimited transfers, no file size limits, and premium support.
Is there a free version of OSBridge?
Yes. OSBridge has a Free version.
How do I upgrade to Pro?
You can upgrade to Pro directly through our pricing page by selecting a Pro plan and completing the checkout process.
Can I use my Pro license on multiple devices?
Yes. Your Pro license covers multiple personal devices.
How do I activate my Pro license?
After purchasing, a license key will be sent to your email address. You can enter this key in the OSBridge application to unlock Pro features.
What happens after I pay?
After successful payment, your OSBridge license is generated and your license key is sent to the email address provided during checkout.
How do I receive my invoice?
Your invoice is available after successful payment where supported, and your payment confirmation is also sent to your email.
Is the 1 Year plan recurring?
The 1 Year plan provides one year of Pro access and does not automatically renew.
Is the Lifetime plan a subscription?
No. The Lifetime plan is a one-time payment and does not require recurring payments.
Can I get a refund?
OSBridge purchases are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or the applicable payment provider's policy. Please test the free version before purchasing. Refund Policy
Troubleshooting Questions
Why can't my devices find each other?
Make sure OSBridge is running on both devices, check that they are using a supported connection method, confirm they can communicate, check firewall/network settings, and restart the connection.
My transfer failed. What should I do?
Check that both devices remain connected and verify the connection method. Try the transfer again, use resume functionality if available, or restart OSBridge if the issue continues. Contact Support if needed.
Can I resume a failed transfer?
Yes, OSBridge supports resuming interrupted transfers where supported by the transfer workflow.
My transfer is paused. How do I continue?
Use the Resume action available in the transfer interface within the OSBridge app.
Why is my transfer slow?
Transfer performance may depend on wireless conditions, USB connection, device hardware, file size, number of files, operating system, and network conditions.
What should I do if OSBridge does not detect my device?
Check that both devices are running OSBridge, verify the connection method, confirm local connectivity, restart OSBridge, reconnect the USB connection (if applicable), and check local firewall/network permissions.
